Betty - will you contact me? I can't figure out how to get ahold of you - Peggy Keelan 480-2248

Another of the Saints of the Thomas family gone on to her reward. I'm sure there was a family reunion when she got to heaven! She was always so thoughtful of Grandma Esther which we all appreciated. What a legacy she leaves--and a challenge for the rest of us to continue her good works.

One of the first people our family got to know when we moved to Austin to serve at Highland Park Baptist Church was Ann Godsey. Ann and Joe let us live in their home for 3 weeks while we searched for a house to buy, and we were treated like beloved guests. Ann and Joe had just gotten a VCR which had just come on the market. Ann Godsey was one of the great and influential women of my life. I give thanks for her every Christmas as I hang ornaments on the tree made by her over 30 years ago. She and Joe were an amazing pair. They took us in and nurtured us during our first weeks and months of ministry in Austin. Ann loved God, her country, her family, her church, and the Aggies (not necessarily in that order).

Celebrating the wonderful life of St. Ann! She was such an inspiration to those of us who had the joy of knowing her. I served as her church secretary for 8 years at HPBC. At Church of the Savior, we are still blessed weekly by the beautiful banner on our wall that she made and gave to Joe Phelps on COTS' very first Sunday in 1985: "The Glory of God is Humanity Fully Alive!" Thanks be to God for Ann Godsey!

Our prayers are with the family

Dear family,
I remember Ann as such a lady. I know you will dearly miss her but we are all grateful for her long life. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Ann was a blessing to our lives and we will miss her. Love Lynn and Bill Crawford
