Ann Matsner Gruenberg

Ann was a wonderful and loving friend for more than 50 years - during the first 15 of which we shared many family Christmases, Springs and other occasions. After I moved to England in 1987, we kept in regular contact through telephone calls, letters, occasional visits, and latterly, email. Ann and I were colleagues at Eastern Connecticut State University until my retirement in 2013. During that period I was impressed by her teaching ability and her significant contributions through her writing and presentations in early childhood education. Of more importance, I remember Ann as a compassionate and dedicated member of our academic community.
