Read MoreI got to know Ann when I was elected to the 1 C04 ANC in 1988. She was always informative and in those often raucous meetings, supportive. In reading her obituary, I'm so impressed. I had no idea what an accomplished activist she was. She was just this great neighborhood participant. Our city will miss her.

In addition to all of the above wonderful accomplishments of her life, she was a beautiful And loving woman. I had the distinct pleasure of socializing with her mostly in the Chestnut Woods of West Virginia with Larry and her boys. She was a fantastic person whom I will miss for the rest of my life.
