Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences. May God's Holy Spirit be with the family. I pray that he brings comfort to you all at this difficult time.

The first time I met Buddy Hogg, he came into my urology office a bit muddy carrying about 6 boxes of fresh vegetables ( either corn, sweet potatoes, strawberries I don’t remember). Over the years I’d stop by his farm on Briarfield and pick stuff after work. I once asked him why he planted so much and his answer was “ I plant enough for the wild animals, my friends, and enough left over for me !” . I always aspired to be a gentleman farmer like Doc Hogg. I now have my 150 acre family farm...

my wife and ran a home health care business which started in 2011, "Buddy" was one of our early clients. Ann didn't want the help but her family knew she needed it. She vetted us very hard! but we somehow met her standards and we became friends and stayed in contact for many years. She help us in so many ways she was a wonderful lady, friend and one of our best sales folks in the those early years! Our thoughts and prayers are with the family thank you Ann for the positive impact you...

Ann was a rare friend to all who knew her. She was so faithful to Buddy including taking him for a walk pushing her husband Buddy in his wheel chair on her long walks around the streets of Merrimac Shores. You have earned your rest at last. We talked often and I have missed our talks before she sold her home. God will welcome you with open arms and at last you be joined with Buddy

Mrs. Ann and I were great friends and worked together at Sentara Careplex Hospital for many years. She was so thoughtful, caring and a beautiful person. She spoke so highly of her family and was so proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. I will always cherish the long walks at Fort Monroe, the theater and the time we went to Christmas Town. I will never forget how Ann wanted to ride the merry-go-round and we did! I will miss her terribly but know she is happy with her...

I have many wonderful memories with Ann! Helping me at the dental office , the bridal luncheon she had for me and our bus trips shopping! She always had a smile and always ready to try something new! I will miss her cards and notes. She will be greatly missed! Our condolences to the family!
