MRS. ANN NEAL IVY

I knew Ann briefly through the Bluff Park Methodist bridge group. She had a warm and welcoming personality with a delicious sense of humor. I was so sorry to hear about her illness. She will be missed.

Ann was a wonderful lady. God bless her soul, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this period of grief.

Ann was like a second mother to me when I was in junior high school, and I will always be grateful for her love and acceptance and most of all, her laughter. The last time I saw her she visited my house in Homewood and asked if I had the movie "The Color Purple." She laughed and said that she knew it was my favorite movie and that she had not seen it yet. We talked of old times and I thanked her for putting up with me all those years, then we hugged a good long hug and said "see ya later".
