Not sure what to say?

My mom, was a substitute teacher at Brooklyn HS. That's how I met Mrs. Joy. She was a wonderful lady. Dedicated her life to students and was a friend to many. RIP.

Mrs. Joy was a wonderful teacher, and a really sweet lady. Thank you for taking the time to educate the future! I remember you fondly.

Mrs. Joy was my English Honorary teacher. She chose me to work on The Eaglet as photographer, following Tony Hess (now deceased) I believe. She also chose me to direct the Senior class one-act in competition. Her attention and support was immeasurable to my development. I will remember her fondly.

I will never forget having to get up in front of the class and reciting The Prologue to the Canterbury Tales in Olde English.

Mrs. Joy was not only a popular English and Spanish teacher but also the sponsor of the Eaglet (yearbook) and the coach of Brooklyn High's very first It's Academic team. It was a great pleasure working on these extracurricular activities with her. She will always be remembered by her students.

Mrs. Joy was among my favorite teachers. She was warm and caring. She was such an inspiration to many of us. God Bless her.

Mrs. Joy was the Spanish teacher at Brooklyn High School for many of us. She was a wonderful lady and educator. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Praise the Lord for having placed her in our lives.
Peace and Love,

Ed Martin
