Kanipe, Ann – age 48 of Knoxville died 11:29 a.m. September 20, 2005 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was a member of Northwest Church of God and The Young At Heart Club. Ann spent lots of time with her family and church friends. She enjoyed listening to country music, making afghans, collecting bears, Indian dolls, and pens. She was an avid U.T. football fan. Preceded in death by her father, Walter V. Kanipe and infant brother, Phillip Laverne Kanipe. Survivors: mother, Hazel Kanipe; sister, Lona Terry; brother and sister-in-law Vincent and Mary Lou Kanipe. Nieces and nephews; Debbie Kanipe Hermanson, Tammy Kanipe Bishop, Phil Terry, Diane Terry Plemmons, Beth Terry Eaton, and Jan Terry Sharp. 20 great nieces and nephews, several aunts, cousins, and many friends. Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Mortuary Chapel., Rev. Larry Winters officiating. Family and friends will meet at Roseberry Cemetery, Mascot, at 12:45 p.m. Friday for a 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service and interment. Pallbearers: Phil Terry, Josh Monhollan, Jon Hermanson, Jason Sharp, John Eaton, and James Wilson. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. P.O. Box 11772, Knoxville, TN 37939 or to Northwest Church of God, 5320 Pleasant Ridge Road, Knoxville, TN 37912. Family will receive friends Thursday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Mortuary Oglewood Avenue at Broadway.

I am very sorry for what has happened. Ann was a very good person. She was not only my Aunt but my friend and I miss her so much. Just know that I am always here for you. I love you so much!
