Not sure what to say?

You are still one of my greatest teachers at Virginia Tech. Thank God for allowing you to come into my life!

Miss you, a great friend.

Ann Kilkelly was my wonderful tap teacher for many decades here in Blacksburg. We continue to learn much from her, through tapes and the memories of steps by different women who had studies tap from her. Thanks to Ann's insistence we all learn the shim sham in order to commune with other tap dancers anywhere, we are part of a tap community.

Sending a group hug to all who loved and adored Ann!

We met Ann in Black Mountain through Alternate Roots. She announced that women who grew up in the 50s in the USA were tap dancers and knew the Shim Sham. That was me. I instantly loved her style We baca me friends. I will miss her.

I met Ann and Carol thru many avenues of music, theatre, politics, social awareness, gatherings and so on. I was honored and appreciated Ann's enormous talents and gifts. Remembering the wonderful parties and jams at their beautiful home, she touched my heart and expanded my musical awareness. Loved singing with Carol and Leslie in their home. She is now singing and dancing with other great spirits! Fly on Missy!

Anne and Carol were the very first musicians I met shortly after moving to Blacksburg... We met when I was playing jazz with flips shoemaker at the armory at an art show... We gathered together the three of us in their home and I was introduced to a charming catalog of their favorite songs which we performed in three-part harmony everywhere we could... Ann's warm kind soul shined through in everything she engaged in. I was honored to be a part of her production Prozac Blues. I am honored to...

Ann was our dear friend and roommate at the University of Minnesota. We loved her and will miss her humor and charm.
