Reiff Funeral Home - Epworth Obituary

Ann M. Koerperich, 70, of Epworth, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at her home in Epworth, Iowa, surrounded by her family.


Visitation for Ann will be held from 3 to 8 p.m., Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Epworth, Iowa where a prayer service will be held at 2:30 p.m.   Visitation will also be held after 9 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the funeral home.


A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Ann at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Epworth, Iowa, with Rev. Steven Garner                officiating.  Concelebrating will be Rev. Jim Bergin, SVD.  Burial will be held in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Epworth, Iowa.


She was born May 26, 1955, in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of John and Mary Elizabeth (Daly) Koerperich.  She is a graduate of Western Dubuque High School in Epworth.   


Ann was a secretary for her brother Dave at Epworth TV and Radio for 47 years retiring in 2020.


She had a very witty personality.  She loved doing puzzles, playing cards, going for walks, sitting outside on a Sunday afternoon, and visiting with friends and neighbors.  She was a diehard CUBS fan, and loved going to their games.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her siblings, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.


She was a member of St. Patrick’s Parish in Epworth, Iowa.


She is survived by two brothers, Dave (Linda) Koerperich and Rick (Angela) Koerperich both of Epworth, IA; three sisters, Jane (Brian) New of Epworth, IA, Sherry Koerperich of Davenport, IA and Marilyn (Joe) “Chico” Drees of Farley, IA; a sister-in-law, Kathy Koerperich of Monticello, IA; and several nieces and nephews.


She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Jim Koerperich; and sister-in-law, Teri Koerperich.

I am so sad to hear of Ann's passing. Ann was a very special person, very kind, compassionate and caring. She was always kind and carrying to me as was the entire Koerperich family. It was nice to have them right next store to the DWC seminary. It was like a family away from home. I have so many fond memories with Ann, and her sisters. Dear Lord receive the soul of this special angel and present her to God most High. I will be praying and thinking...
