Ann M. Kresich, age 95, passed away February 15, 2023, in Chandler, Arizona. She was born Ann Samanich on April 23, 1927, in East Chicago, Indiana, where she lived most of her long life. Ann is survived by her two daughters, Dianne and Eva, and three grandchildren, Jefferson, Luna, and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Kresich and brother Nick Samanich.
Ann loved to share good memories of her early days working in Chicago for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Family and friends will remember her for her beautiful needlework craftsmanship, as well as her homemade baked goods, especially during holidays.

Ann and Lou were my godparents. They always took this responsibility seriously and were regular visitors to our home as I was growing up. Kuma Ann was a sweet woman. I haven’t seen here in years and wasn’t aware that she moved to the Phoenix area.

Dianne and Eva,
My parents knew Ann and Lou for many years. My Dad played Tamburitza with Lou and they stated in touch thru the years. I remember them when I was very young, and years later I introduced them to my in laws and said “they were considered yuppies in 1961. “. I visited your dad at the assisted living a few months before he passed. He remembered me with a smile. May they both rest in peace.
