Semian Funeral Home Obituary

Ann Kristoff, 90, Taylor, passed peacefully to her Lord and Savior with her family at her side on Wednesday night, November 25, 2015, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. She is survived by her husband, Albert S. Kristoff. They would have been married 62 years on Thanksgiving Day. Born in Taylor on November 14, 1925, Ann was the daughter of the late Stephen and Barbara Seneta Petrewsky. She attended Taylor schools and was employed in the garment industry, retiring from New York Bronze, Taylor. Ann was a devout Catholic, who spent many hours praying for her family and friends and was a parishioner of St. Ann's Basilica. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. She had a warmth and humor that will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Surviving, in addition to her husband, Albert, are two daughters, Attorney Carol Kristoff, Taylor, and her fiancé George Frye; Christine Kristoff and her husband, Peter Misura, Lecanto, Florida; and her son, Albert Kristoff, wife, Sharon and grandson Conner, Huntingdon Valley. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Stephen, Harry, Michael and John Petrewsky, Nicholas and Peter Towarnicki; and one sister, Mary Haladay; nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday at 12:30 pm from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm in St. Ann's Basilica. Interment will take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Taylor. Family and friends may call Sunday 2-5 pm at the funeral home.

I have very fond memories of Ann at numerous family get-togethers. She was a happy person, always smiling. My sincere and heartfelt condolences go to her family and friends.
