It is with great sadness that I hear of this news about the passing of my aunt Ann (aka "Auntie"). Much of my childhood was spent with my mother, Ann's sister Stephanie, visiting Auntie for coffee talk at our grandparents' home on weekends, and holidays like Easter where everyone spoke in Polish to my grandparents.
