Ann G. Low, 99, widow of William E. Low, passed away on September 25, 2017 at Apple Rehab in Rocky Hill. She was born in Hartford, January 13, 1918 to the late Lawrence and Anna (Strang) Gartner. Ann lived in Wethersfield for most of her adult life. She worked for Travelers Insurance as an accountant for 43 years and was a former member of the Travelers Women's Club. Ann was a communicant of Corpus Christi church for 50 years and a member of the Women's Club of the Church. Ann is survived by a sister Helen Parry of NY, and several nieces and nephews, Jane Svejk and her husband James of Union, Kathy Pehr and her husband Paul of Glastonbury, Robert Parry, William Parry and his wife Nancy, all of NY, and James Low and his wife Jackie of Tolland. She is also survived by several grand nieces and nephews. The family would like to would like to thank Apple Rehab Nursing Center for all their care and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 9, 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Hwy, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may call at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home,1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield from 9:30 - 10:30 AM prior to the service. Memorial donations in Ann's memory may be made to the Rhett Syndrome Association, 9121 Piscataway RD.
