Read MoreTo the family of Ann "Nancy" Marsh. I am writing on behalf of the Howard and Kay Somers family. The Marsh's were good friends of my parents who are both deceased. Howard, our dad, was also in the Coast Guard. Losing parents is a difficult life transition. It's the awesome memories that we continue to seek out and hold dear. I remember Nancy as a teenager when she worked in a shop on State Street in New London in the late 40's. My girlfriend Betty (later/now my wife)and I used to window shop there on Sunday's when Betty visited from Newport. We were pleased to know her and my classmate,Jim.
