Not sure what to say?

I was very sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I knew her as a colleague at KHS who was a true professional and a dedicated teacher.

Sheila E. Dancz, PhD

I had the pleasure of working with Nancy at KHS. She was very kind to me,always pleasant , a great educator and friend. God bless her and her family.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Nancy Marshall.I had the pleasure of working with Nancy at Kearny High School for many years. She was one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was understanding, helpful and most importantly, a friend. I will always treasure the many conversations I had with her and the helpful advice and insights she always offered. She was a truly dedicated teacher who genuinely cared about all of her students. She will be truly missed...

We spent a lot of time with Nancy in and out of KHS. We will miss her terribly, but are the better for having had her in our lives, from whirlwind shopping trips, to restaurants, parties, and just quality time together in good times, as well as bad. I'm glad that she got to see the union of Rita and John; she dearly loved Rita and was so happy she was with John. My only regret is that she will not see her grandchildren, but I know she will be there in spirit. Until we all meet again, love...

Nancy was my English teacher when I was in high school. Years later when I began teaching we shared a classroom and she quickly became my mentor. Not long after that she became my supervisor when she was appointed Department Chairperson. She had so many roles in my life, but none so important as my friend. Her dedication and love for the kids of Kearny is immeasurable and she has touched more lives than one can count. Her greatest love was for her son, John. I am deeply saddened by her...

Your mom and Bill had coffee every morning in my classroom - we laughed and shared family stories especially of our children. Your mom was one of kindest, caring, and loving woman I had the pleasure to meet - my prayers always.
