I just learned about Ann’s passing last week when I stopped and chatted with Bob when walking our dogs. I was truly devastated. Ann was such a sweetheart and genuine to the core. At our neighborhood happy hours, I would find myself gravitating to the “light” that was Ann Medley because I enjoyed her immensely and she kept me entertained with her quick wit and charm. Ann & I shared our first grandson, Ryder. She was a kind woman & wonderful artist. Both of Ryder’s grandma’s were artist. We shared the joy of a baby boy.

Ann's pure heart and love of nature touched me deeply in our brief friendship. Her portrait of Rosie is a treasure and a beautiful expression of Ann's joyful spirit and loving soul.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. My first memory of Ann was at our home during our neighborhood first Friday. She was glowing with a granddaughter on her arm. A sweet countenance and very friendly.
