Ann was instrumental in starting NEW ACT circle at FUMC in Lawrence. New Act is an acronym for "Nurturing Every Woman and Creative Thought". She was also instrumental in getting several of us and three husbands on a mission trip to the Appalachia's. In 2018 we celebrated our 30th anniversary with gifts for Della Lamb mission in Kansas City.
