Not sure what to say?

Ann, I miss seeing you and the wonderful laugh of yours. To the good times at Blair, Hot Shoppes, Peoples and all the gatherings. You will never be forgotten

My husband and I just found out yesterday about Dr Piety's passing. We had come to the Animal Hospital to bring towels and blankets for the pets and I asked for her. Dr. Piety had been so very kind to our old and dearly loved cat and was with her when she died. I was away in California when our dear cat passed and I asked if Dr Piety would say a prayer for her. Just knowing she was with such a caring person at the end ment so much to us. We are so shocked and saddened by Dr Piety's passing....

It's been over a year since her passing and I am just now finding out about her death. I am so sorry! Ann and I were in one or more classes together at Eastern Junior High in the '70s. My most vivid memory of her is of Ann being scolded in gym class for one infraction or another by our cranky southern-accented gym teacher. The woman was constantly picking on Ann and bellowing her name, "ANN P I E T Y !!!" I'm happy to know that Ann achieved her goal of becoming a vet and particularly...

I just learned today of Dr. Piety's passing and am deaply saddened. My Parrotlet Buddy saw her at the Wheaton Animal Hospital about 5 years ago when he was shredding his feathers. I wanted to be sure nothing serious was going on. She pointed out the fact that his head and tail feathers were lovely - because he couldn't reach them. Buddy is now 13 and still shredding them. I started going to Nebel St. Animal Hospital several years ago and was thrilled to see that Dr. Piety was coming there...

I was shocked to hear of Ann's passing; I worked with her (and her sister Cathy) at Wheaton Animal Hospital in the early 80's, and we shared time in the pre-vet program at the University of Maryland. She was a terrific vet, a wonderful person, and will be very sadly missed by all who knew her. My condolences to all her family.

I was shocked and saddened with the news of Ann’s passing. We worked together at the Hot Shoppes 30 years ago. Ann was smart, hard working, loyal, spunky, compassionate, and fun. We enjoyed conversation, engaged in cut-down battles, and some merciless practical jokes. I remember one time being on the receiving end of a bucket of water from her. I can still see the delighted look on her face because I didn’t see it coming. I admired how Ann really loved her family. I respected Ann for...

My heart goes out to all of Ann's friends and family. I still can't believe she's gone. Every so often you meet someone in life who has such an impact on you. Well, I met Ann at Hot Shoppes where we both worked backed in 75. Our friendship continued through Highschool, University of Maryland and we shared great memories also working at Peoples Drug Store. We stayed friends through the yrs and at the end she continued to show support for me when I brought her my ailing cat, during the last...

Dearest Family of Dr. Piety: We send our deepest sympathy at the passing of Dr. Piety. We met her at a very difficult time -- she helped our two beloved cats over the Rainbow Bridge. We had never lost a pet before and Dr. Piety spoke to us of her great faith and what it meant in her life -- especially at the transition of death. When we cried, she cried. She embraced us with her arms and with her heart. Not long after losing Bandit and Sassy, we adopted a little kitten, Kenny, that was...

For years I had a dream about the two of us as children. It was at our house on Oakvale street in Rockville where we moved when we first came to the area in the early 1960s. In the dream, we were sitting on the front steps when the trash men came. I was a little afraid of them and then we gave them a pear. I would have this dream every few years or so and I finally mentioned it to Ann a handful of years ago and she then told me that it had actually happened. I might have been three and...
