Words can´t express how much Ann Rinaldi´s books shaped my life. I didn´t grow up with the best family life, and her books were enthralling escapes into history that were always there for me. I remember emailing her when I was in middle school from an email account with a silly 2000´s AIM inspired name. I am so sorry to hear about your loss! Ann Rinaldi has been my favorite author since I was very young, and I've been slowly re-reading her books throughout the past year. I give her all of the credit for my love of reading and history, and she's left a lasting impact on my life, although I never met her. I am wishing you moments of peace and comfort in this difficult time.
