Ann M. Ryan

Ann and I had not been in touch for a few years and I was shocked and saddened to learn of her death by reading a notice in the Washington State Bar News.

Ann was an amazing person. We worked together at the Washington AGO where she was a colleague, mentor, and good friend. I remember traveling with her to a legal conference in San Antonio in 1995. We had only recently met but we spent the whole time joking with each other, laughing, and finding that we had many things in common. ...

I am so sad about Ann's death. I knew her when she was a law student. She helped me through a very difficult time even though she herself was facing health challenges. In my heart she will always be a 25 year old gentle woman whom I am grateful to have known. -- Eva Wescott Mitchell
