Ann Elizabeth Schneider

Ann Schneider was the best educator I ever had. I loved her as a teacher and we became friends after I graduated college with a major in sociology. As an educator, she was one of the most proud and supportive of my friends when I completed my PhD. I acknowledged her influence in the intro of my dissertation. Ann came to my wedding. Ann was a great soul. She was a great teacher and I counted her as a special friend. She will be missed. She was my teacher in Belleville in the 70's and was one of the reasons I became a teacher.
Ann was a great influence on so many.

Ms. Schneider was a tough but beloved task master who taught me much more than history. Those skills were the basis for a rewarding life. She was an excellent teacher and role model.
