Ann was my roommate at Smith College for two years. We had both transferred there for our Junior and Senior years. We forged a life-long friendship. In recent years we would talk on the phone for at least an hour, every two weeks. We had an agreement that no matter how grim some of the topics were, we would end each call by laughing at some foolishness of our lives or the world. I miss that and I miss her. I hope that her other friends and family have as many wonderful memories of their time...

Ann and I connected at Temple Emanuel El in Redlands. Our children did many activities together at religious school. She was an all round good person. Sympathy to her family and friends. May her memory be for a blessing.

I was given the opportunity to be an assistant for her while she taught at McNear Elementary school in Petaluma. She was a wonderful teacher with plenty of ways to teach the children. Including storytelling. She will be missed by many.
