Not sure what to say?

I should have looked you up years ago. You were an amazing teacher, and amazingly patient to an iffy graduate student. I wish I had had one more change to tell you how much I appreciated the work and time you gave me.

I was saddened today to learn, while doing a Google search, that Ann had passed away. While not her best student by far, I have fond memories of taking her classes in 1985-1987; I learned a great deal from Ann, not all of which dealt with History, but also civic responsibility. I hope that some of her more dedicated students will carry on her legacy.

Ann, you are loved and mourned by so many of us at Trinity. I will miss your smiling face and your sense of humor. You always had something new to add to every conversation. Rest in Peace, my friend.

Ann was a good colleague in EWHP and even after she left the board continued to help with the grants program. We have lost a historian who understood her craft and understood what equity and justice meant.

Ann was my close colleague for 28 years in the History Department at Portland State University. I will treasure her memory.

Ann, your life will always be a treasure to so many. May God bless you forever.
