Not sure what to say?

Anne Werner was my Latin, English and Journalism teacher while I was a student at Fremont High School from 1966 to 1970. She had a big impact on me and inspired me to become a professional librarian. I worked for 30 years with children and young adults, thanks to her.

What a dear and caring person Ms Werner was! She had a way about her that there were very few students who didn´t learn anything in her class. I really enjoyed seeing her in town the past few years and visiting with her. She had a passion for life and everything that she did - rest in peace dear soul

I was fortunate to have Miss Werner for 3 yrs of Latin and English classes. She had such a positive influence on me.....love for the University of Michigan where I went and enjoyment of Latin and English. In fact, I thought I was going to be a Latin/English teacher! Her classes were always challenging, but she helped prepare me for life ahead. I wish I had had the opportunity to tell her those things.

I was an English student of Miss Werner´s during her first year at FHS. She was a firecracker of a person as well as a tough yet fair educator. I left her class once via that rickety old fire escape slide. She was was not amused... Happy Trails Ann!

I had Miss Werner the first year she taught Latin at Fremont High School. She also had our daughters as students. We kept up our relationship for many years. creating many good memories.

Ann was a wonderful, kind, and strong lady. She always showed great integrity to her staff, students and those who knew her. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for her family and friends.

I had the pleasure of having Miss Werner as my teacher for Mythology class. I give all of the credit for my love and my children's love of mythology to her. She was a great inspiration to anyone she came in contact with. Our condolences to her family and friends.

We taught together at Fremont High for many years. She was dedicated and respected.

Ann Werner was a singular force, educating scores of kids through sheer will that they WOULD learn, whether they liked it or not, because she knew they could and should. She was an educator in the best ways.. not just as a subject matter expert who believed in passing down her knowledge, but impressing upon her students the advantages of not only passing a class, but also the ability to expand one´s mind. She was a demanding instructor, and also funny as all get out. I was lucky to see her as...
