Not sure what to say?

I was an English student of Miss Werner´s during her first year at FHS. She was a firecracker of a person as well as a tough yet fair educator. I left her class once via that rickety old fire escape slide. She was was not amused... Happy Trails Ann!

I had Miss Werner the first year she taught Latin at Fremont High School. She also had our daughters as students. We kept up our relationship for many years. creating many good memories.

Ann was a wonderful, kind, and strong lady. She always showed great integrity to her staff, students and those who knew her. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for her family and friends.

I had the pleasure of having Miss Werner as my teacher for Mythology class. I give all of the credit for my love and my children's love of mythology to her. She was a great inspiration to anyone she came in contact with. Our condolences to her family and friends.

We taught together at Fremont High for many years. She was dedicated and respected.

Ann Werner was a singular force, educating scores of kids through sheer will that they WOULD learn, whether they liked it or not, because she knew they could and should. She was an educator in the best ways.. not just as a subject matter expert who believed in passing down her knowledge, but impressing upon her students the advantages of not only passing a class, but also the ability to expand one´s mind. She was a demanding instructor, and also funny as all get out. I was lucky to see her as...

I was blessed with her for Latin and English classes. She was always my favorite teacher. So sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed!

I was one of the lucky students to be in her Latin Class when she first began teaching at Fremont High School. I also participated in the Junior and Senior Class Plays that she directed. I absolutely adored Miss Werner! She made Latin (and life) fun. She had a profound influence on me at a time when I really needed some guidance. The best teacher ever! Rest in Peace, Ann Werner; you made the world a better place.

She was the best teacher...tough but fair. I think my love of books and literature can be traced back to my freshman Honors English class which she taught. Great human. RIP Miss Werner!
