Ann Kauffman Whelan

It's sad to see the old guard passing and I send continued condolences to all the Whelans. Both Ann and Ed were dear friends of my parents, Joyce & Ace Moore. (Ann also sharing George School days with my Mother.) - All from an era gone by when people didn't leave their home town. It was a speacial relationship their group of friends had....knowing each other since childhood - that extra special bond of knowing each other's parents, siblings and often times, grandparents. Ann was a special woman. Graceful, intelligent and genuine. I´m forever grateful for the times we spent with fellow artists in the Sunday morning painting sessions with Ferol and friends. May the road rise to meet you Ann!

I alway looked forward to seeing Ann at the retina office. Although I am now retired, I think of her often. I always admired her scarves and we both commented on how many different ways they could be worn! She was always so pleasant and I enjoyed our conversations. Warmest sympathy to her family on the loss of this very special lady.
