I am reading Home is the Desert right now and decided to look Ann up. This talks about her sons who I've come to know from the pictures and wonderful writing. Rest in Peace, Ann. You have some great experiences to carry you onward. Condolences to her family.

I remember Ann bringing her mother to my adult care home. A very brilliant, friendly woman, very precise in all details and an interesting author. Her books are an example of a full, productive and exciting life. She certainly was a "light" to her family and those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
