Not sure what to say?

Thank you Ann for your wonderful books. I read Beyond the Aspen Grove while on a summer long backpacking trip in the Rockies in 1984. I just picked up your book, Land Above the Tree, which I bought while riding cross-country in 1982. Thought about you and wanted to just say thanks for inspiring so many of us.

An exceptional person. I have always treasured her books , Thank-you and rest in peace.

So sad to hear of the loss of such a remarkable and talented person. Sincere condolences to her family. Her memory will live on in her beautiful work.

Ann was an extraordinary friend and mentor to those of us who chose to follow in her footsteps as naturalists and writers. She had no equal and I'll always cherish my time with her in my heart and will continue to be inspired by her work and example.

Ann will be sadly missed, It was my pleasure to have known her and her family this past 7 years, she will always have a special place in my heart, love to all

Another lover and protector of the land has left us...and far too few are left to interpret it as she did. Peace, Ann.

Everyone and everything in Colorado Springs is diminished by her passing. Her "life well-lived" makes her immortal in our lives. Some local natural site needs Ann's name attached.
