Not sure what to say?

I am so shocked and saddened to just hear of Anna Carol's passing. I first met her at the 2000 AGEHR National Seminar in Dayton OH, where we were part of a group of Area 2 people who hung out together, playing Big Boggle late into the night. I then had the great pleasure to again see her at numerous National Seminars and Area 2 Festival Conferences over the ensuing years. She was always a warm, cheery and welcoming person, and I looked forward to reconnecting with her at these events, as well...

Dr. Buffington, my sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your wife. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Anna Carol, after her many years at Meals on Wheels, spent time working on the possibility of organizing an "Aging in Place" group for our Centre Region. I appreciated her dedication and devotion to her husband, daughters and later in life her precious grandchildren. A memorable bond we had was her connection to the University of Minnesota, my alma mater. She, in fact, was responsible for an ice chiseled punch bowl at graduation time. Anna Carol will be missed.

What a wonderful woman!! She was surely listening when Jesus said "feed my sheep."

It is with deep sadness to hear of Anna carols death. Sending all our love to your family.

Dennis, Kristin and family, I was very surprised to see this. AC was a very special lady in so many ways. She will be greatly missed by a large number of people.

She was a great boss and a wonderful person. I will miss her unique point of view. The community is diminished with her loss. Deepest condolences.
