Anna P. Butz, 93, of West Bangor, passed away, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus. She was the wife of the late Frank W. Butz, who passed away, June 30, 2018, they celebrated 62 years of marriage before his passing.
Born in West Bangor, October 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Mary (Graziano) Palma.
She was a lifelong and active member of St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, West Bangor, where she was a member of the Alter Guild, Women’s Auxiliary, and served on the Vestry Committee.
Prior to retiring in 1990, she was a sewing machine operator for 50 years at the former Cali Sportswear, West Bangor.
She was an avid sports fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, and the Philadelphia Phillies. She enjoyed playing Rumicube with her late cousin Mary.
She is survived by a daughter Annamarie Pence and her husband, David W. of Pen Argyl, a grandson, David E. Pence and his fiancé Samantha of Bethlehem, and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held, Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 11 AM at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 1440 Verona Drive, Pen Argl, (West Bangor). The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, Pen Argyl is in charge of arrangements.
