I have very fond memories of your mother and her hospitality. She was more to me than just the mother of my life-long friend, Lisa. Though I am not blood kin, when I was in high school, she opened her home to me and offered me a place to live if I did not want to live at my boarding school. Although I continued to live at school, I enjoyed many a meal and good company at your house. The bio you submitted in her memory got it exactly right. She believed in education...
