Curran-Jones Funeral Home - West Springfield Obituary

Anna R. Camossi
1933 – 2025

West Springfield – Anna R. (Germano) Camossi, 91, passed away peacefully in a local nursing home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angelina (Russi) Germano and was a lifelong resident of West Springfield. Anna was a talented artist with a lifelong love of drawing. In high school, her remarkable artwork was featured in the yearbook each year, a source of great pride for her. She was also a majorette/baton twirler for West Springfield High School. What she loved most of all was shopping and spending summers by the shore in Old Saybrook—places and moments that brought her joy throughout her life.  Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bart Camossi, in 2023; her daughter, Lori Welch, in 2018; and her granddaughter, Corey Camossi, in 2015.  She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Camossi, son, Mark Camossi; four grandchildren, Stephanie Welch-Santaniello, Carly Camossi-LaPalme, and Addison and Taylor Camossi. A private service will be held in the chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
