Anna Canfield

Mrs. Anna L. Weese Canfield, 76 of Grafton passed away Monday, December 27, 2004 at the residence of her daughter Dana Hoover. She was born February 16, 1928 in Grafton a daughter of the late Donald Lee and Effie May Taylor Weese. She was a line worker for Hazel Atlas and a member of the First Grace Brethern Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Jesse D. Canfield on June 23, 2004 and four brothers; Donald Paul Weese, Hayward Wayne Weese, Gerald Bruce Weese and Edward Weese.

Mrs. Canfield is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law; Beverly Diana Maloney of Grafton, Mandaina Hoover of Grafton and Tina Marie and Jack Sanner of PA, six grandchildren; James Edward Cox of IN, Donald Lee Hoover, Jr. and Shawn Michael Hoover both of Grafton, Marissa Sanner, Josiah Sanner and Mandaina Sanner all of PA, four great-grandchildren, three brothers and sisters-in-law; Lawrence and Connie Weese of CA, Donald and Connie Weese of NH and Larry and Sherry Weese of TX, two sisters and a brother-in-law; Barbara and Al Haynes of NH and Linda Fancher of Grafton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the Bartlett Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
