The Freeman Family remembers the Chennault family with fond memories of Anna and the General...they were good friends of my parents from the 1940s and all through their lives...our condolences to the family...

My condolences to your family may they find comfort and peace in family and friends at this time while trusting God to sustain them (1 Thessalonians 4:14)
Stonemountain , Georgia

Please accept my sincere condolences to your family. Psalm 94:19

I am sorry for your loss. It is at times like these when we are crushed at heart and need love and support that God provides what we need. May your hearts always be filled with the love you shared knowing that love never fails.

Madame Anna Chennault was one of the outstanding leaders and diplomatic icons of her time. Her dynamic capability and courage made her a champion of the many causes and convictions she espoused. Her Goddaughter Julie Thurmond Whitmer, Strom and I treasured her friendship, admired her grace and beauty, and loved her dearly. We extend our deepest sympathy to Cynthia, Claire and all of the family. Nancy Thurmond, Julie and Martin Whitmer

With deepest sympathy from the members and families of the American Volunteer Group Flying Tigers Association.

Our family (descendants of Youngs and McClures of North Louisiana) is thinking about and praying for yours during this time of loss. Our relation, Aunt Dill, was General Chennault's stepmother. Anna Hurder (a third cousin of Aunt Dill who lives in Northern Virginia and grew up in Louisiana) will attend the funeral.

Will Anna;s family and friends please accept my sincere condolences. I know firsthand how it feels to lose a loved on in death. It hurts; the equivalent to losing half of your heart. But I received comfort from knowing that God is a "God of comfort and tender mercies" and he is there for anyone who calls on him. Because of that, I received much comfort and I know you will too.
