Anna M. Dietz, 92, of Bangor, PA, passed away Monday, December 8th, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. Anna was born in Bangor, PA on March 6, 1922, a daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Wickett) Landry. She was the widow of Edgar "Jim" Dietz, who died in 1997. She was employed as a cutter at the former Bangor Clothing in Bangor, PA, until retiring. Prior to that, Anna was employed at the former Kayser Silk Mill in Bangor. Anna was a graduate of Bangor High School class of 1939M. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bangor, PA. Anna is survived by a son, James C. Dietz and his wife Louise, of Summit, NJ, 2 grandchildren Melanie D. Wamhoff and Michael S. Dietz, 5 great grandchildren Avery Dietz and Hannah, Noelle, Krista, and Luke Wamhoff. Anna was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Louise Dietz, a sister Florence Landry, and a brother William R. Landry. Funeral services will be held at the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 314 S. First Street, Bangor, PA, at 10 AM on Friday, December 12th. Friends are invited to call Friday 9 - 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Bangor, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Suburban EMS-Medic 9, 311 Blue Valley Drive, Bangor, PA 18013.

Jim and Family. Thinking of you this time in the loss of your Mother. Anna and my Aunt Eleanor Hicks were good friends. There were many Sunday's that I took Anna and my aunt to Church then we would always go to the Gap Diner for breakfast. Please accept my condolence.
