Not sure what to say?

She started my joy of couple dancing.
I said "teach me." She told me " go learn to lead the dance first."

I moved to NC my 8th grade year and Ms. Gerow was my history/science teacher and homeroom. I remember her being a wonderful teacher and kind heart when needed. She loved her cats and clogging- she had pictures of each on her wall. I've not seen her since 8th grade- 20 years ago.

My sincerest condolences to the Gerow family.

Ms. Gerow was my 4th grade teacher at
North Graham Elementary school.. I learned so much from her,, the importance of using proper English was one of them. Structure & perseverance were more things of importance. She taught me how to clog & we talked of horses & our love for them. I loved her, she was my very best, & most favorite teacher Ever.
Peaceful sleep Ms. Gerow.

Gerow family you all are in my prayers & I want to express my condolences to each. Miss Gerow was a great role model & excellent teacher one of my best at Western Middle.

Anna was one of my supervising teachers when I student taught at North Graham Elementary School. I later worked with her in our locals of the North Carolina Association of Educators and Alamance Democratic Women. It was an honor to know her and work with her through the years. She was a true lover of children and of political action!! She will be missed and remembered fondly!!!

David,
Sorry to read of Anna's passing. I remember her and your mother, Betty, both from my late-1960's years at Elon where I had re-enrolled as a Vietnam Vet. It was there that I met "Fletch" and through him, I met you.

It has been many years since I last saw Anna, and at least that many since I last saw you. But, thanks to my remaining "grey cells" (I'm now 79), I have clear thoughts of the good times we had together, you, I and Tommy M., pickin' and grinnin' to Neil Diamond's...

The Archer family lived next door to Anna for several years. Anna was a fun, spirited and generous person. Our deepest condolences are extended to her family for the loss of Miss Anna.
