Anna Gomes

One of the sweetest people I could remember at such young age. I remember my parents would take us to her home to visit all the time when we were little as she was my Dad's godmother. She made the best carrot cake I can remember. She is now in the most beautiful place with God and sitting with him looking down on us. My cousin Aninha was among one of the nicest person I have had the privilege to know in my life. Although over 40 years separated us, she always ensured anyone around us knew we were not strangers or acquaintances, but first cousins ("familia pertinho").
