Studying/being with Anna profoundly influenced my dance career and choreography, but more importantly freed me of self-imposed barriers and boundaries, setting my soul free to dance, live and love more fully. She was a truly amazing woman. She made the world a better place, and I am deeply saddened by her passing.

I just learned about Anna, while reading the book, "On Women Turning 70" by Cathleen Rountree since I had just turned 70 on November 7th, 2021. I was moved by her presence and truth to express self with the ever movement of nature. I feel enlightened, going forward by Anna's life work to heal myself through the movement of dance. You make me feel beautiful; as I know you are. Rest in peace.

I was just moving some things from storage and found my graduation poster from the late 1978/79; the year long program at the SF Dancer's Workshop. Memories are still floating up to consciousness for me about my time with the Anna and the staff then. Soto, Jasmine, Daria, and Norma.
