Not sure what to say?

Randy and Mary and family...Ann was such a good and caring friend to our mother, Amaryllis Buurstra. Ann helped her through the loss of her husband and mom really looked forward to their time together every Wednesday. Amaryllis was back at the Christian Rest Home last December for rehab after she broke her leg and was able to share meals with Ann and Pearl for a few weeks. Pat and I stopped by one day just before lunch and were able to share some time with the three of them, we really...

Anne was one of our children's Mr. Burger Grandmas! She was so sweet and caring. She would watch our children cross on the overpass over Lake Michigan Dr. If I had an early morning meeting at work. Peace dear lady!

Ann was such a sweet and caring woman. I remember as I was a young child and my parents Don and Virginia Wierenga were very close friends to Don and Ann and the many visits we shared. They also attended Steve and my wedding in 1985. Glad she will still be in my memories. Susan Wierenga-Pyle

Ann was such a dear friend to my mother for so many years. My mother who is now 95 and suffering from dementia still lights up when I mention Ann in our conversations. When my parents emigrated from The Netherland. Ann and Don were instrumental in helping them settle in Grand Rapids and were always there in the difficult times that followed. Ann, leaves a legacy many can only aspire to. Such kindness, compassion and a giving heart will certainly give her a special place in Heaven. ...

Our sincere sympathy to all of Ann's family
in the passing of this dear lady and lifelong friend. At times like this we would like to be in Michigan to share together remembrances of her with all of you. She was a blessing for us knowing her. May God grant His peace and comfort to all of you. With love and sympathy, Mike and Ardith Matthysse
