I apologize for my late entry. However, I was thinking of Miss Pearl Johnson today and decided to look her up on the internet to contact her. Much to my surprise, I came across this site. I will forever miss Pearl, because she was my best,best friend. We have been through a lot of things together and talked about a lot of things, I went to visit her in the month of June for a week or two and that was a lot of fun. Their are many people from Head Start that will miss Pearl also. May God Bless and comfort you all in this time of sorrow.

To the family of Miss Pearl thank you for lending her to use young ladies at Head Start, she prepared us for marriage, childbearing/raising in her own unique way. I think we are better woman for have experienced Our Pearl. She will be missed but she is home.

Our deepest sympathy is with you . We met Pearl one time when she visited Mississippi with my sister. She was a joy and loved by my family. Her smiles and laughter remains in the Mississippi Delta to this day. The Lord placed her in our lives. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May God continue to bless each of you.
