I spent 12 wonderful years with Sr. Anna at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Los Angeles. She was not only my principal, but also my mentor and dear friend. I attended St. Aloysius my 6th grade year. It was a difficult transitional year for me and she was so kind and supportive. She recognized my potential and encouraged my abilities when I didn't recognize them myself (being an insecure pre-teen). I will forever be grateful

Sister Anna will always be remembered by my classmates, my parents and myself as a caring and compassionate person. She started at St. Aloysius School in Los Angeles, when I started first grade. She was a tough cookie but I believe we all needed that in order to grow and become great people in this world. She brought many changes to St. Al's and helped this community in Los Angeles. Thank you Sister Anna for leaving us many memories, teachings and compassion for helping others.
