Not sure what to say?

Bob and Dea, I am so sorry about Anna. I followed your journey with her the past year through Caring Bridge. What a strong, courageous young woman she was! Anna was such an inspiration, as are both of you as you fought with her in this battle. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Fondly, Jo Alderman Greenberg (formerly of Richmond, Va)

Mr. and Mrs. Lucas,

I just discovered the obituary of Anna today while researching the newspaper on-line. I am so sorry to hear of Anna's death. I can still see her smiling and saying, "Hi, Mrs. Radcliffe". After we moved away, Danielle would think about Anna and call her. She wanted to call her over the Christmas holiday, but she never made that call. She is going to be heartbroken when I go home and tell her the news.

We will keep you and your family in our...

Words cannot express our heartfelt sympathy for your tremendous loss. May Christ's peace be with you and ease your pain. Anna's spirit during her illness as well as your family's persistence during these difficult years is an inspiration.
Patrice, John, and family.

Dear Bob, Dea and Dillon,

My husband Pat and I heard about Anna through our son Johnny's friend in Roanoke. I used to drive Anna to kindergarten at Roanoke Catholic. She was always a saucy little girl who would leave me smiling. Rose babysat for Anna and Dillon.

We send all of you much affection and will be praying for your family. All words are insufficient now.

Sincerely, Pat, Gayle, Johnny Torres and Rose Descher Torres

Dear Bobby, Dea and Dillon,
I just wanted to express my sympathy in the loss of your daughter, Anna. She was a beautiful girl. My family and I have you all in our prayers and may God's peace sustain you.

Dear Dea, Bob and Dillon,
I learned of your loss today and wanted to express how sorry we are. I have such fond memories of Anna and Dillon playing with my son JP.

She was a beautiful person and I'm glad we had the chance to spend time with Anna; and you, her family. Thank you for the joy and fun times we shared. We were truly blessed to have crossed paths. I'm sorry we lost touch when we moved to Williamsburg and I failed to re-connect when we moved back.

Dear Dr Lucas and Family, We are so sorry for your loss, know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time.

We cannot express just how sad we are for the loss of Anna. She was a very special person with an amazingly positive attitude. We were so blessed to have gotten to know her and our children thought she was the most fun you could have when their parents weren't around. Please know that we are here to help you in any way we can. Dea, Bob, and Dylan - you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Dea, Bob and Dillon, Your courage and strength during this time has been so admirable. The Mass in Anna's name was beautiful yesterday. The kids that knew her wit and charm were so brave and did a great job sharing bits of her personality with everyone. I will have you all in my thoughts and prayers daily.
