Anna Mae was an amazing person. I was a teacher at Urbana Elementary in the early seventies and could depend on her for any assistance that I needed. I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Anna Mae was a special lady and the face of Urbana Elementary School for years. I had the pleasure of working with her as a new teacher and for years after. May she rest in peace. Condolences to her family.

I was lucky enough to work with Anna Mae at UES! My first year of teaching; she was a little intimidating. It took awhile to become friends. But, once you we’re friends -it was great! Many of us were right out of college and not from Frederick. Anna Mae was like a second mother to us. She and my husband and her had the greatest time at UES Christmas parties, etc! My prayers for all of you.

Audie - i am so sorry for your loss.

To The Murphy Family,
You have my heartfelt sympathy and love in your loss. I went to teach in the Urbana Elementary School in 1964. Mrs. Murphy welcomed me, supported me and became my forever friend. She was an outstanding secretary, She never made a mistake. What a lady and what a legacy she has left. She lives on in my heart.
