Anna Catherine Schroeter

We were saddened to hear Aunt Anna passed away. I took a motorcycle trip up to Atlantic last summer to see her and I'm so glad I did. Chris and I remember going to Exira as kids to visit Aunt Anna & Uncle Harold and visiting Grandma Overgaards house and seeing her tiny birds. Also, going to Aunt Mariannes farm. I had two favorite aunts, and one of them was my aunt Mariane. Of aunt Mariane's children I had three favorite cousins; and one of them was Anna.

I didn't see Anna all that much because I was in Oregon and she was in Iowa; but the times we were together Anna was such a joy to be with. I enjoyed each time I was with her—in Exira, in Oregon, and in Atlantic. (The last time I was with her she snuck out on her patio to have a smoke with me.) ;-)
