Anna Elizabeth (Huish) Thacker, 84 passed away February 26, 2007 in Mesa Arizona. She was born September 16, 1922 in Tucson, Arizona to Willard Snow Huish and Martha McRae. She graduated from Mesa Union High School as Valedictorian and attended Arizona State Teachers College (ASU) majoring in business. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John Weston Thacker. She is survived by her nine children: Linda (Cecil) Perkins, Pinedale, AZ, Tresa (William) Wallis, West Jordan, UT, John (Wendy) Thacker, Kaysville, UT, Tom (Lorna) Thacker, Peoria, AZ, Steve (Pam) Thacker, Centerville, UT, Boyd (Becky) Thacker, Mesa, AZ, Gayle (Larry) McDavitt, Derby, KS, Dave (Julie) Thacker, West Valley City, UT and Harvey Thacker, Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by her 37 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren as well as three sisters: Nelda (Lawrence) Tanner, Naomi (JayDean) Jones, and Martha Alice (John) Storment, all of Mesa, AZ. There will be a viewing at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ, Sunday, March 4, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, March 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pioneer Ward, 1050 S. Hobson, Mesa, AZ. Also viewing 1hr. prior to service.
