I’m truly saddened to hear of Anna Maude’s passing. My dad Cloyd Leedy and Anna Maude were cousins. Anna Maude was very special to me, we exchanged many Christmas Cards, and letters over the years. I’m thankful to Anna Maude for spending time with me on my visits to Rural Retreat. Anna Maude will never know how much she taught me about “Leedy” History. It seems like just yesterday that we were growing up and always had something to do. My dad, mama, your daddy and Mama always in the cabbage patch or in the kitchen cooking for the men or someone running an errand to get a part because something broke down. Man what memories. Our thoughts and prayers with you during this time to all of you. May you be blessed during this time of sorrow.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. It has been yeas since I saw Anna Maude, but I have asked Stanley about her on numerous occasions. It seems only yesterday that Betty passed away, and now another sister and mother is gone. I trust that God will give you strength and courage during this sad time in your lives.
