Annabelle and I worked together at Mays Valentine (now Troutman Sanders) for many years. She seemed to have endless energy and always made sure that everyone had what they needed from her department. I spoke to her earlier this year - as always, she asked about my family and told me she was always doing GREAT. I know I will miss hearing her voice. Judie (Patton) Armstrong

I have thought of Annabelle many times over the years. I worked with her in 1979 at M&V when I was pregnant with my second child - she would always tease me for running down the hall in high heels at 9 months pregnant to get that brief filed before 5pm! Her laugh is one of my fondest memories of her - so full of energy, and what a sense of humor! God bless you Annabelle, and say hello to Marguarita for me (my mother)!!

It is with profound sadness that we learned today of Annabelle’s passing. She was a close friend of my mother, Cornelia Lingebach, for almost sixty years, and spent many hours rocking me to sleep when I was sick as an infant. Annabelle was that rarest of people, a lifelong friend. Many of my earliest memories involve her tenderness and caring. She will be greatly missed.

Please accept my sincere sympathy to you all. I worked with Annabelle at Mays, Valentine from 1970 to 1978. I started out as her "helper" in the file room before I was experienced enough to become one of the legal secretaries. I was all of 18 years old! Annabelle seemed like a whirlwind to me -- such energy, such devotion to her job, and red lipstick to boot! We laughed together many times, and she showed great patience as she worked with me. I wish I could have spoken to her before she...
