I always looked forward to seeing her and being warmly greeted when I went to the Mol unit to lead devotions on the third Tuesday of the month. David Hertel my dad was her first cousin. I remember meeting her at a reunion at the Grand Haven ymca years ago. We were both teachers. I especially admire her work with refugees. She was sincere and filled with light.
