Not sure what to say?

I only knew Annalee a short while after becoming a member of the Woman's Club of Indio. I was in South Africa when I called my neighbor who asked me if I knew an Annalee Thruston because she had suddenly died. I couldn't believe my ears!! She was such a sweet and interesting lady. She was only a few years younger than me which is TOO YOUNG TO DIE! Now I read all the wonderful things she accomplished and I'm just sorry that we didn't have a chance to get to know each other better. My...

Annalee was family to me and mine as well as (obviously) many other lives touched by her loving spirit and hilarious personality. Though we've been thousands of miles apart, we never lost touch because she always made time for others.

I am in shock and grief as I write this. I can't believe I've lost my beautiful friend of 31 years. We met so long ago, two young gals the same age, living in San Francisco and we instantly connected. I've travelled the globe with Annalee and spent holidays with her and her family. Vance, Ron, Bobby and Jimmy: I spent Christmas 2005 with all of you, thanks to Annalee's kind invitation to spend the holidays in Palm Springs with her. My heart goes out to you in your time of loss.

I will...

I was just informed today of Annalees death, I'm in shock. She was a beautiful and loyal friend who will live in my heart forever. My love and prayers to all of you in this very difficult time.

Vance,Jim, Bob & Ron,
With heartfelt sadness, we share your loss.
Annalee, this "Bud's" for you.
Sincerely,

It just doesn't seem possible to have our dear friend gone from her family and friends. Annalee and I began working together 27 years ago and she was always there for her friends. We always kept in touch because I loved her spirit, her smile and her undying loyalty. I am sorry to miss her farewell tribute but I will be there in spirit. We were blessed to have known Annalee and I am comforted to know she is looking over all of us.

Annalee will always be having a margarita and doing a harem dance by the pool on a sunny afternoon. All the best to the family, especially Jimmy who loved her so much.

She was a joy to have known. She will be missed

Vance, Bobby,Jimmy and Ronnie: How shocked and sad I was when Trudy called me to tell me that we have lost Annalee. So many memories came rushing back --- working on the first Virginai Slims Tennis tournament when the Press-Telegram sponsored it in Long Beach. Annalee and I had such great fun helping to coordinate that event - and it opened so many doors for her and lead her to a fascinating and incredible career. She was so damn good at what she did. Memories of Moe at the PT also came...
