Not sure what to say?

Ms. Batikis was my 7th grade swimming teacher at Franklin Jr. High School many moons ago. Without her help, I wouldn't know how to swim today. Wonderful woman - may she rest in peace.

Thank you for your love of sports especially baseball! You and other gals were the blueprints for girl's sports today. You will always be a part of American History! You are safe at home....with our Lord!

Ann and her brother, John, were wonderful neighbors to us when we lived in Racine. I always enjoyed visiting with her when I would return to Racine. She will be missed.

Miss Batikis was my gym teacher at Mitchell and she was a feisty woman for sure. So very proud to this day to say that my gym teacher played for the Racine Belles and every time I watch A League of Their Own I think of her. Sympathy to the family for their loss of a fine woman.

Grab your bat Ann. Coach called you to the plate. You're up.

You were a special lady, teacher, faithful woman of Christ, and our friend. We will remember the Thanksgiving dinners we shared, the time shared teaching at Mitchell and the love you showed our family. You will be missed.

Stash - You have broken barriers for all of us women to follow. Thank you for making this world a better place. May you rest in peace.

Thank you for your loving caring ministry with the Middle School Deptment for many years! I counted it a privilege to have been there serving with you..
